Cake evangelism
We have already tried this one out. Have a stall at a local boot sale or community carnival etc. where childen can decorate a cake to take away and eat. Loads of people in our church produced the home made cakes and donated icing sugar, sprinkles and so on. The children will take about 2 minutes to do this while the parents can sit and relax, maybe have a cup of tea and get to know about us and Jesus in a none threatening way.

Churches Together in Stevenage did a similar thing at Stevenage Day giving away free strawberries and cream. Another church at one of the previous years had a professional photographer in their congregation. They were doing free portrait photos which they printed up and posted out to people with a low key letter saying that they just wanted to give these away as gifts. No preach - just a gift with contact details if people wanted to know more.
